Terry Martin, a veteran surfboard shaper, shapes a 40 minute board. He knows what he’s doing so well that he only checks his mental measurements once to make sure the stringer is nice and straight.
last day of waves before heading back to the big cold northeast! had a wonderful time watching this last swell. enjoyed this last day with marshall! there were plenty fun little barrels.

Often in our job as photographers we are totally dependent on drivers. Back in 2004, I was on assignment in Kabul, Afghanistan for the first time and came to appreciate just how important a good driver can be, especially in a place like that where your life can depend on it.
